Dr. ATER SIMON AYANGALUMUN is an entrepreneur and philanthropist par excellence who is a highly detribalized Nigerian. He is a graduate of plant science and biotechnology. Dr. Simon is a dependable personality with ability to adapt to diversity and change.
Giving has always been a part of him from early on in life when he always shares the little he has with friends and also reaches out to the needy in society.
His love for giving and concern for the elderly who are usually weak and vulnerable birth the vision to formally register ATER SIMON FOUNDATION with 4 core programme areas of health, education, skills empowerment and humanitarian relief.
Dr. Ater Simon has a deep passion and desire to provide a comprehensive care for the elderly in the society; through medical, psychological, economical, educational and social support that will guaranty their general social well-being; while also assisting rural communities, women and children to live a quality life.
Dr. Ater Simon is well travelled having visited countries like Ethiopia, Ghana , Dubai, Uganda, Kenya, Turkey, Cameroun, Egypt, Singapore, Niger republic , Czech republic, China etc and has acquired so many awards through the works of his NGO (Ater Simon foundation) as the fast growing NGO in the year 2020 in Nigeria.
Ater Simon foundation has built over 10 bridges, 15 boreholes in various communities across Nigeria. The foundation is currently training 116 orphans n Primary and Secondary Schools n Nigeria.
To ameliorate the hardship of families across the nation, Ater Simon foundation share over 30 million naira palliative support during the Covid 19 pandemic in Nigeria.
Dr. Ater Simon has received numerous personal awards, some of which include Cryptocurrency icon in Dubai from Platinum coin in 2018
He has been honored with an award from Crowd 1 group in Nigeria as the fast supporting philanthropist and entrepreneur of the year 2020.
Christians Writers Association of Nigeria has also awarded him as an inspirational icon of the youths.
He also received another honor from Sir Ahmadu Bello prestigious award given by the Global Alliance of Northern Nigeria as the young rising philanthropist of the year 2020.
